Autumn Break – time out

This past week has been autumn break with both kids home from school and kindergarden . We have had a lovely time visiting museums like the amazing Frilandsmuseum which is a part of the national museeum and heritage of Denmark. A collection of old houses from all parts of the country spanning hundreds of years, all set in beautiful country surroundings. The kids loved it there and the highlight of the visit was being driven around in a horse drawn carriage.

We also spent some time going for walks in the cities parks with nature dressed in the most amazing autumn colours. A tradition on Autumn break is a visit to Tivoli, one of the worlds oldest amusement parks. This time of year decorated for Halloween with thousands of pumpkins. Of course we also had days pottering around the house in Pj’s most of the day, eating pancakes, a visit to the cinema and spending time with family just being together with no plans.

Being present

I wanted to take more pictures to share on the blog but decided to be more present for the kids and save the pictures for another day. I needed to unwind and just be – but here are a few pictures I took.
